The dining experience is not a one-off event – it’s the very essence of how you create ongoing memories of fine food, fellowship, good health and happiness.
We share your understanding that there is more to the dining experience than just serving 3 meals a day.
You have added complexities of geographic diversity, building age, size, layout, diverse staff skills, variance in equipment and kitchen layout, history, mission and culture.
We see you struggling to balance the meal service you dream of, with care, cost management and regulatory compliance.
We work alongside and collaborate with:
- residents and their family
- the Board and committees
- the C Suite
- senior management
- frontline staff
- speech pathologists
- industry experts
- equipment specialists
- software developers
Assisting Aged Care Providers to create and implement their dining experience strategy.
Jo Cleary, BSc Psych (Hons) – Dining Experience Advisor
Jo has morphed her passion for wholesome, nutritious locally sourced food into a service focussed on improving the dining experience in aged care facilities. Jo sees so many opportunities to get back to basics, keep it simple and incorporate residents, families, interest groups and staff into the meals journey.
Jo has seen the impact of cutting costs on staff and residents. She sees and knows it is not the intuitive way to improve quality and service. Residents and their family are not happy, staff are stressed out and management often do not achieve their goal.
Staff tell Jo that they lose their ability to provide a caring and loving service. No one is empowered and expectations are not met.
Jo’s secret sauce is really simple - make the invisible visible. By reviewing the meal service right along the value stream, solutions jump out that are actionable and lead to a quality outcome at optimal cost.
Jo tells it like it is, and supports you to ensure the best ideas are actioned so you make a real difference from the dining room to the Board Room.
